Marathon Road Entertainment is continually seeking the highest quality music to add to our library. As our client base grows, so grows the need for a diverse array of musical styles and genres. As we market ourselves as providing only top notch songwriting and production standards, we carefully evaluate all submissions to see if they meet the quality levels we require. If you are interested in adding your music to our library please consider the following;
- You must own all of your copyrights free and clear
- You must sign our artist agreement stating ownership and release of liability
- Your songs should be produced professionally and be ready for placement without further studio or production work
- You music must be original and interesting
- Songwriting, musicianship and production must be performed at the highest level
- For royalty based placement your songs must be registered with ASCAP, BMI or SESAC
For consideration, the first step is to direct us to a web site containing samples or files of your songs along with an e-mail address to contact you. This can be your web site, MySpace or any other site where we can hear your music. If we feel there is a place in our library for your music, we will contact you via e-mail to request a CD. If the songwriting, musicianship and production values are up to our standards we will forward our artist agreement. Once we receive the signed agreement back from you we will place samples of your songs on our web site. You will then receive an access log-in to review your songs on our site. From there we will submit your music to our media contacts for placement.
Marathon Road reviews submissions from all styles of artists. Currently we are seeking world music i.e. Salsa, African Beats, Middle Eastern, Asian and any other exotic style from all over the world. We also have a need for female artists and female groups in all styles.
